Punk Aesthetic Project

Between Us and Machine. Both humans and machines are equipped with sensory apparatuses that allow them to notice changes in the world around them. It is an interface that connects these two entities allowing them to communicate. New forms of interfaces are being gradually introduced into society e.g. voice assistants such as Alexa or Google Assistant However for the most part, many day-to-day interfaces have not changed since their initial creation.

In this project I was asked to design a new form of interface for a preexisting machine. The machine I chose was a clock. When creating this animated clock I wanted it to be seen in a punk rebellious lens. I then asked myself what does a punk lifestyle look like? With this in mind the creation of the Punk Rebellious Clock was born.
